Is my heart purple or what?
Is my soul purple?
Are my eyes purple or what?
It seems like everywhere I go
And everywhere I went
There's somebody in purple
A purple house or purple dress
It seems that everything that shows
There's a touch of purple
      Why couldn't be orange, red, black,white, pink, yellow, green, blue, grey,
       brown or even silver?
      Why couldn't it be another colour?
      Why must the world seem so purple?
      Purple! Purple! Purple!
I can't go down the street No! Without seeing purple
Even the rainbow has a shade of purple
You might think it's so crazy to sing  a song about the colour purple
But you don't know what I feel when I see the colour purple
It's such a stupid memory when I see purple
It takes me back to a party and a messed up girl to me
Who almost got the best of me
It's like the force just wants me
To feel the way I feel when I see purple
Sure purple is a colour, you can mix it and match it
But when you're around me, just do not wear it
It's not that I don't like the colour
But it's just not in my favour
You see she almost hurt me and my friends
And every time I see purple it comes again
So fins a different colour, mix it and match it
Paint your house cream or something
Or blue or red, or white or brown or any other colour you like
ALL except purple!
