TO ALL LONELY HEARTS written by Sheldon Manoo (1993)

Acapella: This one goes out to all lonely hearts
CHOrus:       Someday somebody will love you
Even if you don’t want them too
There’s nothing you got to do
                      Except to yourself be true!
Music in:
This is for those who never been in love and still waiting
Don’t lose your hopes just keep anticipating
Someone out there is lonely too
And that someone is loving you
Seek my friends you shall find
The one who has you on their mind
And you don’t have to be afraid of love
Because of what you hear going on
Just accept the person for what they are
Don’t go pushing things too far
Good things come to those who wait
And keep in mind first love don’t come from first date
So if you get let down, that’s part of life
You have to struggle for your love to survive
And you have to go out there
Make yourself aware, of love
So if you’re lonely now don’t worry
Some sweet day there’ll be somebody, Yeah Yeah!
CHOrus:       Someday somebody will love you
Even if you don’t want them too
There’s nothing you got to do
                      Except to yourself be true!
After your first love leave, you think you don’t want another
But you know you need a companion there forever
You think first love should last
You see your friends’ ones come to pass
So you think love is not for you
But don’t be a lonely fool
I’m telling you I know it’s true
Someone is always loving you
That person could be right before your eyes
Or maybe miles upon miles
But if you search this little earth
You’ll find the one to ease the hurt
And everybody needs some time to be lonely
And someone will be loving you and you’ll be loving them only!
CHOrus:       Someday somebody will love you
Even if you don’t want them too
There’s nothing you got to do
                      Except to yourself be true!

                         (interlude)

This is for those who been in and in and out and out and in and out of love
Someday I swear to you, you’ll find that one
It’s just that you think love is a game and you’re just not good at it
But I assure you when you find that one those unhappy times you’ll forget
And if you remember you’ll probably laugh or cry
But you’ll no longer be shy
Cause that special one will be there
You’ll be showering each other with love and care
So have no fear my lonely friends
Soon it will all end, cause someday Yeah!
CHOrus:       Someday somebody will love you
Even if you don’t want them too
There’s nothing you got to do
                      Except to yourself be true!
            Someday, some fine fine day
Your pain would be taken away
And somebody will be loving you
And that’s even if you don’t want them too
Cause love is meant for everybody
Yeah everybody got to love somebody
And love the one that love you
That’s the only time love is true,   And

This one goes out to all lonely hearts!

NEGLECTED FRIENDSHIP written by Sheldon Manoo (1993)

Remember when we were kids, we were young, we didn’t know much
We played childish games, we didn’t know love
We were like brothers and sisters, we were like a family
But somehow the years went against us causing unwanted rivalry
Why don’t we talk the way we used to why don’t we smile anymore?
What’s been going on lately, does it make any sense?
Come on, come on talk to me, I want us to be back as friends!

Let’s put on end to this neglected friendship
My neighbours we got to stop this
And go back to the way we were

Come on it’s time to break the ice, break all those barriers, now I extend my hand,
Hold it and shake it, shake it, shake it, let’s try to understand,
I don’t know what caused the misunderstanding but I was too ignorant to know
But as I grew the burden was too demanding to just let it go, on
I had to make the first move, we have to let it all out
We got to get rid of the false pride, we have to know what it’s all about
You got to forget all my past mistakes if there were any and everything is fine by me
We got to start back going to each others’ houses, talking ‘bout this and that you see
Only you and I could make it the same
Calling each other silly names
And let this renewed friendship never end
Let’s go back to being friends!

Let’s end this neglected friendship
Start an old time relationship
Do the things we used to do
Be the way we used to be
I’ll be a friend to you
You be a friend to me
My family it’s time to stop this foolishness
Let’s pay attention to this neglected friendship

Take a second to reflect on way back, to when we used to dine together
Go out to the cinema, take time to remember those sweet Decembers
We can’t let it go for no reason at all
Right now we just got to stand tall
It’s time to get off this event-less trip
Renew this neglected friendship
There were many days I was home alone and you were there too
And I came out and sat on that stone and so did you
But there was no communication; we’d glance at each other now and again
And I had no idea what was wrong but those times it’s time to forget them
Let’s start all over if we have to or just pick up where we left off
We just should not let it all be lost!

ALONE IN THE DARK written by Sheldon Manoo (1993)

Now we’re all alone in the dark baby, our bodies so close together
You’re breathing on my face girl, making me feel so much better
Owh your arms wrapped around me, your lips on mine
I run my fingers through your hair and suck your lips of wine
You run your fingernails down my back, owh sending chills up and down my spine
And when you kiss my chest, your lips feel so fine
Then we start to make love, oh baby you feel so good
I could never get enough, baby I’ll always do the best I could
My lips running down your leg, turning you on and on
You don’t ever have to beg, to you I’ll always run

And now that we’re all alone in the dark
Our bodies touching would make a spark
We’re all alone in the dark
 Making sweet sweet love
Our bodies alone in the dark
 Feel each other’s touch
 We’re alone in the dark

Oh baby I love you so. Just wanted you to know
I will never let you go
My loving will always flow, years and years in a row
And everyday more will grow, I won’t ever tell you no
And every night when we turn out the light
I’ll make you feel alright, giving love so out of sight
Girl to me you’re so essential
To me you are all
If you want anything
Its’ what I’ll bring
You need not ask twice
I’ll pay any price, to always be with you
I love you baby
I love your body

And now that we’re all alone in the dark
Our bodies touching would make a spark
We’re all alone in the dark
 Making sweet sweet love
Our bodies alone in the dark
 Feel each other’s touch
 We’re alone in the dark

I know you love me too
I see it in the things you do
I sometimes hear you whisper in your sleep
Oh boy I love you so deep
I even hear you talking to your friends
Saying I hope our love never ends
We got what it takes
To keep this magic
We got your sweet thoughts and my good ways
Together and true is how we’ll always stay
Our love’s one of a kind
We’re always on each others’ mind
We know nothing’s gonna stop us
We got an everlasting love

And right now we’re alone in the dark
The love we share will make our hearts spark
Baby we’re all alone in the dark
 Making the sweetest love
Our bodies alone in the dark
 Feeling the others’ touch
We’re alone in the dark!

NIGHTSOUNDS written by Sheldon Manoo (1993)

Lonely, lonely
Why must I be so lonely?
I remember
When she used to hold me!

I reminisce here while listening to the nightsounds
As I feel the emptiness all around
I remember when I used to hear her breathing
And some of her secrets revealing
I remember being with her many a nights
Kissing and loving under the moonlight
But now here I lie alone in the dark
Hearing the night birds as they pass by
Listening to the nightsounds, with a broken heart
Listening to the nightsounds, all alone in the dark
All these crazy nightsounds making me feel sad
All those lonely nightsounds getting me a little mad

The night owls hooting around
Adding bass to the sound
And the crickets with their screeching noise
All that’s missing is a soft voice
I can still hear the echo of a whisper
But then I’m awaken and I miss her
All my dreams are shattered
And my heart is scattered
I don’t know what I did or what I didn’t do
I don’t know if it’s because of someone new
Cause I love the girl so
And it’s so hard to let go
Everything seems wrong
And I’m frightened by these nightsounds, oho
Listening to the nightsounds, with a broken heart
Listening to the nightsounds, all alone in the dark
All these crazy nightsounds making me feel sad
All those lonely nightsounds getting me a little mad

Oh the night used to be my friend
I wished they would never end
Because she used to be with me there
Showering all her love and care
It was the only time we could have spend together
All our friends and I thought it was forever
The day was our work time, the night for us
To talk things over and make sweet love
She made all the plans
She said I was her man
But where is she tonight?
I wonder if she is alright!
And if she comes back right now
I’ll forgive her somehow
I’ll accept her with open arms
And I’ll still be so calm
But it’s no use hoping
While the noise is building
Giving me a headache
And worsening my heart break!
Listening to the nightsounds, with a broken heart
Listening to the nightsounds, all alone in the dark
All these crazy nightsounds making me feel sad
All those lonely nightsounds getting me a little mad

I wish the night would just go away
So that I could work all day
I wish the night never come again
So that I won’t miss my friend
But in hours I know
The day will come and go
And I’ll be lying on my bed
Holding my head
Losing a lot of sleep, feeling lonely
While the night gets the better of me
Hoping it would all be gone
But the night would be so long, while I’m
Listening to the nightsounds, with a broken heart
Listening to the nightsounds, all alone in the dark
All these crazy nightsounds making me feel sad
All those lonely nightsounds getting me a little mad

OBSERVER'Z OPINION Written by Sheldon Manoo (15/06/05)

(Narrative)

 Here's how the story goes:
A traveler from another world cruises the galaxy looking for hope in creation
This being stumbles into the earth's atmosphere and decided to observe
And this is what it sees.

Verse1

There's no welcoming sign in here
There's no peace in the atmosphere
There's no order it appear - s
There's no justice here to find
There's no being with peace of mind
Kind deeds may be hard to find
There's many more than all in here need
But there are billions of hungry souls to feed
No knowledge of how, in the ones who lead
There's no justice for the innocent
The sick don't have proper medicine
And with so many gods who's really listening

(SOLO)

Verse 2

There's belief that better will come
That belief had eluded a hundred generations
And the state of now is much further from
They worship paper more than blood
They've whipped their brothers till their hopes clod
The ark they built got lost in the flood
There's no rationality here
The message is never clear
Selfishness is the common thread they share
Lives were laid without reason
Heroes been crucified for treason
Now there are only rough and rougher seasons

(Grove)

Valleys were turned into mountains
Deserts were redesigned as fountains
Nowhere can there be something from nothing (Don't they know that)

(Bridge)

Here the young are the wise
But their voices are harshly silenced

And the one who vowed protection
Is the one needed protection from

Here right and wrong are intertwined
Love can be given by same gender kind

And creativity is so chastised
Brainwashed by recurrent musical vibes

(Grove)

There's no hope left in here
The faithful ones will soon disappear
I might as well just shift my gear.

APPEARANCES AND BEHAVIOR written by Sheldon Manoo 09/03/2019

Just observing and reporting
Trying my best not to judge
For I am just like you are
Even if I don't hold a grudge
We have been programmed
To believe popular is right
Though we have not encountered
These celebrities with no one else in sight
What a child is told stays
Until a child they must protect
We hold people as high as our Saviour
And negate the lives they wreck
If this example is not at all true
Of two children in the same home
One felt love, one felt rage
By the caretaker who had them on loan

What is said and what was done
Only who feels knows
Only God sees it all
One's misery, one's fun
Deeds by the shadows
Is not hidden from God
So whose public appearance
Shines so righteous
Your private behavior
Must also match that status
All sin and fall short of glory
Repent and say sorry
How you appear in public
You must appear in private
A consistent behavior
With every moment you are blessed with
