I could remember back in school
My teacher told me to pay attention to anything don't be a fool
And there was a girl who had her eyes on me
But I was reckless, I didn't care to see
That right now maybe love would have been with me
I could have been with smiles and so care free

But I didn't pay attention
So how could I have known
If I did pay attention
She would have been my own

If my teacher could see me now he would be so disappointed
He wouldn't believe my whole life I have wasted
If he only knew what I did when I came out of school
I did wrong things and wasted my life just like a fool
And I didn't pay attention to real love I could have been in
I should have listened to what he was saying

But I didn't pay attention
So how could I have known
If I did pay attention
She would have been my own

But I didn't pay attention, no no
If I did pay attention love would have been in my life
If I did pay attention she would have been by my side
But I didn't pay attention to that girl
No I didn't pay attention , no waaaay

Music

But I didn't pay attention
So how could I have known
If I did pay attention
She would have been my own

But I didn't pay attention to looooove!
