Some have come and they have gained the world
Forgetting who controls the soul
Living this life in a mass denial
Not bearing in mind the most important trial
If a song could really save a mind
Who would listen just this time
You may not like my singing voice
But taking heed is your best choice
Whether or not you believe
We were created by a Loving Being
Who sent himself as His Son
To die for the sins of everyone

So get down on your knees and pray to Jesus
Pray to Jesus,
Pray to Jesus
This is the only reason to celebrate Christmas

The commercialization of the season
Has fogged the minds of nearly everyone
Partying and economic gain
Has hindered even the intelligent brain
Though there are stories of miracles
There's more focus on the spectacle
I'm asking you to focus on God
For this Christmas and onward

Take some time and pray to Jesus
Pray to Jesus
Pray to Jesus
Thank the Lord for being so Gracious
Let Jehovah know your faith
The only reason to celebrate

All I want for this and every year
Is to have my Savior very near
For I am just a sinful soul
I need God's hand to have a hold
Far as I know  we are all the same
I AM that I AM in Jesus name
The Word talks about these happenings
Still we negate Godly things
True glory we cannot taste
Until God sees us face to face
The journey can be far from sweet
But cleave to the Almighty with every heartbeat

Go deep in your soul and pray to Jesus

This is the only reason to celebrate Christmas

All the world knows His aim
Would you be one to deny His Name
Half truths and false prophecy
Self righteousness and idolatry
Sinful thoughts and actions too
Is what separate me or you
From the Father, Son and Holy Ghost
The thing in life we need the most

For we all must depart
From our sinful addictions
For the antidote for dreadful predictions
For the only reason to celebrate
Don't matter what the date
Is what Jesus
Yes what Jesus
What Jesus has done for us
So His Birth
We celebrate
His life
We emulate
On His Death
We concentrate
His Resurrection
Is our fate!
