I SALUTE YOU Written by Sheldon Manoo (1994)

My truth may sound like a lie
That’s why I let love slip me by
Cause I say nothing when there’s so much to be said
So much thoughts in my head
Well these are the last days that I see
So if love never get to me
There is no one to blame
But I know so many by name
It ain’t a shame!
I done everything that I possibly can
And who in this world would understand
Then I salute you!

No matter how far you are
I would find you if you call
And we can hold on through it all
I know there are so many lessons to be learnt in life
No matter how short or long you live
Wisdom is the key to redemption
Love is the key to peace
God is the key to living in peace and serene harmony
And if you call me your friend
Then I shall hold you in my heart till the end

And life is not gonna die for the believers
So believe in you as I believe in me
And we shall rise among the entity
That’s the end and the beginning of all time
The force of all life
And everything that we’ve seen or will see or hear about
And even those that exist and will never be discovered
You know I’m just one man
A victim of a system that’s been victimized by the ignorant forces of progress and condemnation
I wanna change that situation
Who’ll join in my rebellion?
Then I salute you!
Who’ll love me forever
You know I salute you!
Who do what I do
I I I salute you!
Until it all end!
