SONGS TOUCHED ME (IN MANY DIFFERENT WAYS) written by Sheldon Manoo (1998)

First to begin with I hate the month of December

Don’t ask me why, it’s just some things I remember

And one is the reason of my existence

Now it’s way beyond memory’s distance

But I can’t forget anything

And can’t remember everything

All the things that matters

It scatters and it batters

And turned my life into a song

That set my mood to get along

And al I live for is the songs I play

These songs they touched me in many different ways

Some slapped me against the wall

Kicked me down to the ground

Stomped me, beat me, made me bleed

Raped me, hate me, squeezed my seed

Flogged me, robbed me, whipped my ass

Grind me, blind me, burn my grass

But some of them treated me tender

Like they were the other gender

Loved me, kissed me, held my hand

Caress, impress, tamed my land

Shake every piece of my emotion

Lying here I was sailing on an ocean

They took me places

Showed me faces

Eased my mind angered my soul

Made me aware, changed my world

Any of the six senses anyone ever made anyone else feel

Well I’m sure those songs done more than that to me

They touched me and continue to do that every day

All those songs touched me in so many different ways!
