I’d listen to the music

Turn the radio on so loud

Whenever I heard my favourite song

It would make me feel so proud

And one day while I was listening

The radio DJ put on a certain song

And somehow it reminded me

Of something that had gone

So I called the radio station

Said please play that song again

The woman said, we can’t do that right now

But by this time tomorrow my dear friend

I woke up early the next morning

Played the radio the whole day

Push that button on my tape recorder

When the song started to play

            And what made me cry was

You see that was the name of a girl I used to love so much
