Well it’s been a long time

It must be some kind of crime

To keep us so far from each other

When you were closer to me than my brother

It’s good to see you man

It’s nice to shake your hand

We got a lot of catching up to do now

Yeah we got a lot to talk about

Come sit with me a while, let’s have a beer maybe ten

Remember when we vowed we would always be friends

            I need those times again!

Hey buddy how the wife and the kids, I’m proud your career is going so well

Well after my bitter divorce, I’m getting on I guess you could tell

She got the child and the house, I got the dog and the car

My boss I guess he understands this I got promoted so I’m getting far

You’re looking good I must admit

Man you sure look physically fit

The only thing I done good for myself

I haven’t smoke in over two years

And there’s something else I keep thinking about

Remember the last time we hung out

I tried so hard to contact you

But like a bird man you just flew

I learnt of your progress through your mother

But she never knew quite where you were

I guess I read all your letters

No return address was ever there

Now do you think about that, does it ever cross your mind?

I just got to let you know I think about it all the time!

They should have never died, we should have just run away

We were fast enough we sure would have got away

I still see that girl’s face the horror that we brought to her

If we had left at that moment no one would have ever saw

But we killed the man who came to stop!

And killed the girl cause she wouldn’t shut up

And got rid of the evidence

And you got rid of your presence

Tell me does it haunt ya’

Tell me do you regret?

Do we tell someone?

Or keep it a secret!
