I’ve forgotten everything I was thinking just yesterday

And there were so many thoughts running through my head

Maybe it’s because of what a nameless, faceless stranger had say

Or it could be this feeling that my best friend is dead

Nothing light seem to come to my mind

No thoughts about love, about peace, about freedom

Only the dark shines on all that’s unkind

Tell me you’re here and that we can move on

Sure as the clock ticks tomorrow’s sun will shine

And people will get up and do their regular routine

Normally it sucks but in this unsure time

Doing that tomorrow is like a special dream

Like a special dream!

There are so many things I’ve come to face

In so many thoughts that my brain went through

And some of the moods and feelings I had in other days

I always think I’d know exactly what to say or do

But when the situation comes beforehand

I stand like a child in utter surprise or disbelief

How can you make a firm noticeable stand?

When you’re silently begging in prayer for relief

If only I don’t have to say if only again

If I could have control all of creation

Something like God who is my good friend

Then I’ll omit grief from everyone in the nation

In every nation!

I wonder, I think, I dream and I believe in a lot

But I’m not book smart, not rich or popular

But an open mind without discrimination is what I got

And people who met me and said that will take me far

If I had to write all the feelings I feel

It would take forever to finish that song

Written on paper to endless paper and recorded on reel to endless reel

But I know that would be too long

So some of my ideas and thoughts won’t be repeated

But all I think will always inspire me

I hope all the love ones can be protected

And all the good folks stay without an enemy

No one to hurt us just let us be

Oh let us be!
