CITIZENS ARRESTED Part Tree: Soul's Ecology (25/05/07) By Sheldon SB Manoo

PLEASE NOTE THAT ANYONE CAN USE THESE LYRICS FREE OF CHARGE, ALL WE ASK IS TO CREDIT THE BLOG AND PLEASE IF POSSIBLE MAKE A DONATION!

Tried to change the world, with your song, they don't want to, hear it anymore

The years have taken, a toll on your safety, and now you're broken, insecure

What about the dreamer that dwell,

Inside your soul?

Is the spirit not feeling so well?

What's left to behold?

How much more strength can you muster,

To stand your ground?

When your allies spirits lacks luster,

No crowns adorn!

Selfishness should be the value you adapt for, it can stair you well

For human kindness is not a trait that's abundant, no stories left to tell

(SOLO)

Philosophical virtues create a mass despondence, among the building force

So the structures are shaky, with low grade material, we cannot supplement cost

Want to make a difference on the earth,

Not to prove a point!

Want to value every thing's worth,

Re-enforce the weak joints

What about the humans we trust in,
to keep us safe?

Even the botanic complaining,

It's all laid to waste!

I cannot sell you my freedom,

Or even put it up for rent!

I cannot beg you for equal justice,

And protest under a tent!

You're arrested in the propaganda!

While we're arrested in peace!

Through you tainted looking glass,

You don't believe what you clearly see!
