MALE:

She was sitting on the sofa when I came to pick up her sister to go to the party

I sat down next to her she was smiling so heartily

We didn’t talk for a minute or two then she asked me

So you really like my sister she’s so very lucky

I said yeah and she’s a wonderful lady

And so she deserve someone good as me

And so the conversation dragged for about five minutes

All this time her eyes were just gleaming

Then she said you know you’re a real special guy

And it will sure be great to be your wife

All this time I thought she was talking on behalf of her sister

But then she said this to me as I stared at her

FEMALE:       Maybe if you marry my sister

                        You and I could have some good times together

                        But a sister in law can’t do all the things a wife can

                        Especially with a guy as good as you

                        Before you ask her to marry take me into consideration

                        Cause a sister in law can’t do what a wife can

About this time her sister had finished dressing

I didn’t noticed how beautiful she was looking

Though we weren’t going out for very long

I felt her love for me so so strong

But I couldn’t enjoy myself that particular time

Cause these words kept playing in my mind

                        You and I could have some good times together

                        But a sister in law can’t do all the things a wife can

As the days progressed I got to know them both better

I knew I had to choose one or the other

Her sisters’ physical beauty was way passed hers

She didn’t have much really going for her

It was hard for me to make a choice

But I had to listen to that other voice

I married her sister it’s been almost a year now
