I said I’m gonna do some things that most people think can’t be done

And some of my family and friends say I’m a crazy one

Now I got beliefs that are contradictory to most people around today

And I’m sure you heard many of the things about me that they say

Why are they always the ones to take the best of love?

You always hear “they, they, they” why can’t “they” stop?

Why can’t “they” no matter who “they” would be

Just encourage the good things that “they” see

You’re trying to be best in the things you do

But “they” come so hard down on you

Now we all know who “they” always are

The parents, siblings, other relatives, the friends and neighbours

Those people who call themselves so close to you

They are the ones to always hurt you

They always seem to know what’s best for you

But their best is not what you want to do

But they persist and insist all that and all this

And you keep trying harder to resist

And when they don’t get their way

They got the world about you to say

And most of it are never ever the facts

But the message goes forth and back

You try hard not to let them get to you

You try hard to do what you want to

You’ll hate to hear the words I told you so

So you pray to God to show you the way to go

And now they know you are the weakest part of me

I know they told a lot of things to you lady

So I ask you, now you know what I want, what do you think of me?

Tell me the truth! Do you also think I’m crazy?
