While I was heading
for the mall the other day
I met this sweet
little old lady
We were stuck in
traffic so we got to talking
What I said she seemed
to be liking
I told her my age she
told me hers too
Then we heard a
certain tune
She said that’s my
favourite song
I said yeah I really
loved that one
Our conversation then
went deeper
She said I never met
no one sweeter
And if I had me 57
years less
I’d fall for you in
less than a minute
Then I said no
If I had me 57 years
more
You’d be my girlfriend
for sure!

was a blush
I think I got a
flashback crush
She told me about her
grandchildren
How she really really
loved them
Her daughter worked in
the bank
Her son was of a
colonel rank
She had a
granddaughter around my age
But she had messed up
her life
She said she couldn’t
face the world today
She prays to God,
every day and night
She made an impact on
my life for sure
If I had me 57 years
more!
