Life is the toughest game to play

So many lose so few win each day

And it’s a pity while the rich get richer

The poor get poorer and never get no where

A poor kid may be as smart as a rich kid

But when awarding they give the rich kid it

So they gain gain and keep on gaining

They don’t care when we go complaining

They will turn us away push us around

Make us look the other way, that’s why I rap this one

Life don’t you know we want to live it

This thing called life we want to enjoy it

This life

Growing in the ghetto is not an easy task

You get nothing if you beg or ask

You got to steal, fight to stay alive

Little 6 year olds running around with knives

What can we do we can’t stop them

We rap and try to educate them

Teach them the real way to live life

And to do the things that are right

Show them how to get down on their knees

Say their prayer and hope to be free

From the nightmare of this kinda everyday life

Cause so many had already lost their life

And we want to live live live our life

And do the things that are right right right

We want to live it to our fullest

And what we do , we want to do our best

And we want equal rights and justice

And you’re the ones who can give us this

Give us opportunity to put meaning to our life

Break barriers, bridge gaps, eradicate strife
