Feeling like the end of the world is at hand

Feeling no belonging so you can’t take a stand

When the warm breeze of serenity blows against you

Where are the days when trouble you never knew?

The sacredness of your heart has been evaded

Your freedom of thought has been confiscated

The rope’s ending is only an inch from the ground off the cliff

And they’ve pushed you down so how can you avoid this?

Life ain’t easy but it was never that hard

There are things to keep in mind and things to disregard

Even if you live to see a wretched tomorrow

Can you still feel to carry the burden of others’ sorrow?

What if you were damned to live forever?

Could you ever attach yourself to any other?

When you know that you will never change

They will lose mind, die or simply fade

What’s the sense in believing in anything?

When all your beliefs winds up to nothing

Every day it’s been the same old talk

Life is a satisfying cruise or a feet aching walk

What’s the sense in saying the truth?

When the ones who’ll hear will still substitute

The coldness in peoples’ soul is a blizzard

And one second of weakness is a hazard

When the guardian becomes the one you need to be guarded from

How can this situation ever be overcome?

If the church was the answer for all of life’s’ mysteries

Then why has the pastor of my church commit adultery?

Even the sacred ground became a place of infidelity

How can a sinner be the one to save me?

If there was a way to feel doubt no more

Can someone tell me it so I will feel secure!

Well as my life will fade into oblivion

I make room for another thinking generation

And as this feels like it is the end

Forgive all those who were pretend friends
